PDP crisis – BoT endorses Ude-Okoye as national secretary

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees (BoT) has officially endorsed Sunday Ude-Okoye as the party’s National Secretary.

This confirmation was made by BoT Chairman, former Senate President Adulphus Wabara, during the ongoing 80th BoT meeting in Abuja.

The Board also clarified its position on Senator Samuel Anyanwu, reaffirming Ude-Okoye’s role following a meeting in Asaba, Delta State. Wabara explained that the decision was made after a thorough review of documents and issues presented by both Ude-Okoye and Anyanwu.

This move follows the endorsement of the Court of Appeal’s January 31 ruling by PDP governors, led by Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, urging the National Working Committee to take action on the matter.

Further developments are expected.
