JUST IN: PDP NWC holds crucial meeting amid leadership crisis

The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is currently holding a closed-door meeting at the party’s national headquarters in Abuja.

Sources indicate that the meeting is a significant step toward resolving the ongoing leadership challenges within the opposition party.

Presided over by PDP’s acting national chairman, Umar Damagum, the gathering comes shortly after the Supreme Court rejected a motion seeking to halt the execution of a High Court ruling that removed Samuel Anyanwu as the party’s national secretary and replaced him with Sunday Udeh Okoye.
