Following the declaration of a state of emergency in Rivers State, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has suspended Governor Siminalayi Fubara, his deputy, and all members of the state legislature.
In their place, retired Vice Admiral Ibok-Ete Ibas has been appointed as the sole administrator to oversee the affairs of the state.
