President Tinubu acknowledged the efforts of Senate Leader Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele in advocating for the university’s establishment.

He urged the new appointees to apply their leadership skills to drive research, innovation, and academic excellence.

The Iyin Ekiti-based university is expected to welcome its first batch of students in September 2025.
