UEFA has opened disciplinary proceedings against four Real Madrid players, including star forwards Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Júnior.
The reason for this is an alleged misconduct following their Champions League triumph over Atlético Madrid.
Defender Antonio Rüdiger and midfielder Dani Ceballos are also under scrutiny, with the European football body appointing an Ethics and Disciplinary Inspector to examine the claims.
The controversy reportedly stems from the players’ behaviour after the match, with Spanish media suggesting that UEFA is reviewing their celebrations.
If found guilty of violating conduct rules, the players could face sanctions ahead of their crucial quarterfinal clash against Arsenal on April 8.
