Notorious bandit leader Isuhu Yellow killed in Zamfara ambush

Kachalla Isuhu Yellow, a feared criminal responsible for violent attacks across Zamfara, Katsina, Kaduna, and Niger states, has been killed in a targeted ambush by rival bandits in Zamfara State.

Known for orchestrating kidnappings, deadly raids, and highway robberies, Yellow was among the most wanted bandits in northern Nigeria.

He played a key role in major abductions, including the 2022 Abuja-Kaduna train attack and the kidnapping of the Emir of Bungudu.

His downfall began after a confrontation with security forces in Keita village, where he was injured, and nine of his men were killed.

However, his greatest threat came from within the criminal underworld.

Days before his death, Yellow killed fellow bandit leader Kachalla Bakin Sifindi, igniting tensions within the rival factions.

This act provoked the notorious warlord Dogo Gide, who ordered his execution.

Yellow was eventually tracked down and eliminated at Dan Jibga Market when Gide’s men launched a surprise attack, bringing an end to his reign of terror.
