BREAKING: Police open fire on demostrators at MKO Abiola Stadium

Nigerian police, on Saturday, fired protesters and journalists at the MKO Abiola Stadium in Abuja during an “End Hunger” protest.

DAILY POST reported that the protest, primarily involving young people, was the third day of a ten-day campaign against bad governance in Nigeria.

Around 11:45 am, heavily armed police officers arrived at the stadium and ordered the protesters to disperse.

When the protesters refused, the police opened fire, targeting both the demonstrators and journalists on the scene.
