BREAKING: Oyo APC chair Omodewu dies in US

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, Honorable Isaac Ajiboye Omodewu, has passed away.

Omodewu, who played a significant role in the political landscape of Oyo State, breathed his last in the early hours of Monday while in the United States of America.

Omodewu’s political career was marked by his service as a commissioner under the administration of the late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, the former governor of Oyo State.

He was a respected figure, particularly in the Itesiwaju Local Government Area, which is part of the Oke Ogun geopolitical zone in Oyo State.

His passing marks a significant loss for the APC and the political community in the region.

The news of his death was confirmed by the APC’s Publicity Secretary in Oyo State, Wasiu Olawale Sadare.

Sadare conveyed the somber news, saying, “The chairman is no more. It is true that the chairman is no more. He died in the early hours of today in the USA.”

Omodewu’s death has sent shockwaves through the political circles in Oyo State, where he was known for his dedication and leadership.

His contributions to the party and his local community will be remembered by many as they mourn his sudden departure.
